After several years of a new life in France and drifting apart from her brother Siavash, an exiled Iranian punk singer and survivor of his band's fatal tragedy, Mahsa travels to the USA with the hope of reclaiming their fragile, shifting sibling bond. As they wander through New York City and journey across American highways, long-buried memories of Tehran begin to resurface while Siavash retreats into imaginary characters.
